The Retail sector in Australia has a growing number of challenges to face, the cost and availability of insurance being one of them.
Proclaim is running a Retail Risk Survey specifically targeted at the key risk/finance managers that are responsible for the risks associated with retail stores and centres in all states of Australia.
What is this survey about?
The aim of the survey is to gather your feedback in managing and planning for all the associated risks that exist in a retail environment. The survey is quite comprehensive to ensure we capture all the associated elements and factors that contribute to managing retail risks.
It explores key factors which all contribute to how risks are managed such as:
- exposures
- causes
- triggers
- costs and premium drivers
- claims and rish management
- your reporting process
- external provider management
- strategic planning
- Risk appetite etc
Who will be included?
We are including our retail clients and also extending the survey to other retail risk managers in the market. We aim to have a broad and extensive representation of the retailers in the country to enable us to get a rich database of information we can work with.
Confidentiality and anonymity is of utmost importance and guaranteed.
What will we be doing with the results of the survey?
We will collate the feedback and present it at a Retail Discussion Group in the last quarter of 2011. We will also provide all participants with a copy of the results to assist them with their future risk and claim strategies.
We will invite all the participants and anyone else in the industry interested in hearing what their peers in the same sectore are experiencing.
The discussion will be facilitated by Proclaim and will include experiences, trends, proven solutions, recommendations, case studies and much more.
We plan to organise an early afternoon session which will suit most with drinks and Canapes at venues in Sydney and Melbourne.
