Trust

Our core value of trust speaks to the trust our clients can place in us to do what we say will do, and to protect their brand and save them time. It also speaks to the trust we have in each other at Proclaim to create better solutions for our customers.

Case Study: Trust can be shown in difficult individual case scenarios or it can be shown through confidence in our overall business model and the people that make it work.

  1. Clients can trust us to work to their best interests on claims, whilst remaining professional and protecting their brand and reputation. A good example is a claim Ryan dealt with recently involving an injury alleged to have arisen from a “ride” at an amusement park.  The claimant was a minor and injured her neck while on the insured’s ride.  Her mother claimed   that her daughter still suffered headaches from the ride and that she had several sessions of physiotherapy that were still ongoing. Like many claimants who are distressed after  an accident, her mother was very demanding and concerned about her daughter missing school and being unable to work casually since the incident. Typically these cases can get emotional and tricky, but our client trusted us to deal with the client, to ascertain the extent of her injuries and attempt to resolve the matter.  In this case liability was in issue, and the claimant’s mother did go to solicitors, but after lengthy dialogue Ryan was able to resolve the case without the need to retain solicitors for $1500.
  2. One of our long standing clients is Freeman McMurrick. They are the premier insurer of licensed and golf clubs in Australia.  Proclaim has been working with Freeman McMurrick for 9 years managing its liability claims.  Freeman McMurrick trusts us to receive and manage all notifications and now uses our reporting suites exclusively to quote on renewal.  In addition we work closely together on loss profiling, risk management recommendations, claims procedures and endorsements to wordings.

Matthew Head, Freeman McMurrick:
“Freeman McMurrick has been working with Proclaim on our Lloyds of London Public Liability binder for over 6 years. In our view Proclaim is the leading liability claims management company in Australia, feedback received from our retail brokers supports this. Their services save us time and worry, and most importantly we know the claims management services they offer to our clients enhances our product offering. What is vital for us in  selling London placements is the support of Proclaim for any liability problems our clients have. This extends to claims that are both over and under the excess. For scheme style business where policyholders are less sophisticated, it is critical for us to be able to offer a claims management service that is better than local insurers claim departments - in response times and outcomes.”

Macquarie Real Estate Management Services - Irini Daglis, Centre Manager
“Proclaim takes the worry away from me and leaves me with a sense of “the incident has been taken care of”. Knowing that Proclaim will take care of our customers; a simple follow up call can make all the difference to someone that might be feeling a little sore after an accident at the centre. It is vital to have empathetic follow up service to our customers, to reinforce that we spend a great deal of effort and money to communicate, that we care about them and their families”.
